Juanita Dowdy

Juanita Chandler Dowdy, age 91, of Paris, Tenn., died Thursday, January  8, 2015, at Paris Healthcare & Rehab Center in Paris, Tenn.

Juanita married August 24, 1941 to Eugene Dowdy and he preceded in death November 16, 2000.

She was a beautician and Co-Owner of Duchess Beauty Salon in Paris for many years and she loved animals.

She was born August 15, 1923 in Caruthersville, MO to the late Revo Raymond Chandler and the late Bertha Mai Hudson Chandler Pierce.

She is survived by her Sister-in-law, Clara Dowdy of Paris, TN; and Several Nieces and Nephews.

She was also preceded in death by a Sister-in-law, Charlene Hudson

Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap St., Paris, Tenn.

She is to be cremated with a Graveside Memorial Service at Bevil Cemetery at 1:00 pm Wednesday, January 14, 2015.

Chad Kennedy will officiate.
