Juanita Carter, age 93, of Mansfield, Tenn., died Friday, April 3, 2015, at Henry County Healthcare Center in Paris, Tenn.
Juanita married Marion E. "Red" Carter April 15, 1939 and he died June 13, 1947 in the L&N Railroad Drawbridge accident in Clarksville, TN. She was a member of Shiloh United Methodist Church in Mansfield and formerly worked at Salant and Salant and was a Nurse's Aid at Henry County Nursing Home.
She was born September 22, 1921 in Mansfield, TN to the late Clarence Paschall and the late Sula Lucille Thompson Paschall.
She is survived by her One Son, Lou (Bettye) Carter of Paris, Tenn; One Daughter-in-law, Charlene Carter of Mansfield, Tenn; Grandchildren, Larry Timothy Carter of Mansfield, TN, Tony Lynn (Nancy) Carter of Hopkinsville, KY, Dr. Stephanie (Stan) Dunagan of Paris, TN, and Dr. Stephen L. Carter of Chicago, IL; Great Grandchildren, Lesley Carter, Sophie Carter, Will Carter, Joe Carter, Jake Carter, Jon Carter, Austin and Taylor Dunagan.
Besides her Husband and Parents, Juanita was also preceded in death by a Son, Larry E. Carter.
Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap St., Paris, Tenn., where the visitation will be from 12 – 4 pm Monday, April 6, 2015. The Funeral Service will be at LeDon Chapel of Ridgeway Funeral Home at 4:00 PM Monday, April 6, 2015.
Paul Veazey and Kenneth Beal will officiate. Pallbearers will be Rex Carter, Randy Carter, Harlan Crawford, William Ray Crawford, Phil Crawford, Ronnie Colson, Kenny Colson, and Butch Paschall.
Interment will be at Shiloh Methodist Cemetery in Mansfield, Tenn.
