The funeral for retired used car dealership co-owner J.T. Dale of Puryear will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Ridgeway Funeral Home.
John W. Dale and Jason Hart will officiate. Burial will be in Puryear City Cemetery.
Named as pallbearers are Larry Brannon, Gene Schrader, Rex Galloway, David Varner, Don Durst and Tommy Dan Story.
Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. today and after 9 a.m. Wednesday.
Dale, 93, died Sunday, July 14, 2013, at Henry County Medical Center.
Born May 21, 1920, in Buchanan, he was a son of the late Muncie and Eunice Atkins Dale.
His wife, Betty White Dale, died Nov. 20, 1974. They were married on July 30, 1944.
Dale was a member of Glendale Road Church of Christ in Murray. He retired as co-owner of Dale Brothers Used Cars in Puryear, which he operated with his brother, Max Dale for 59 years. Max Dale died Dec. 28, 2011.
He leaves one daughter: Glenda Dale (Gary) Goetz of Fort Myers, Fla.; one grandchild: Chris Gallimore and wife Angie Lyons of Puryear; and a sister-in-law: Sue Dale of Murray.
