Joy Kriesky

Joy Catherine Kriesky, age 86 of Paris, TN, died Saturday, June 22, 2019, at AHC Paris in Paris, TN.

She was a longtime member of Holy Cross Catholic Church in Paris.  She was a member of the Lioness Club, Friends of the W.G. Rhea Library Board, and the Parish Council of Catholic Women.

Joy was born June 30, 1932, in St. Louis, MO to the late George W. Pomeroy and the late Irene V. King Pomeroy.

She was married October 11, 1958, to Marion John "Bill" Kriesky, who preceded her in death on November 14, 1996.

She is survived by her two daughters, Jan Kriesky of Berlin, MD, and Mary Kay Kriesky of Jackson, TN; two sons, Rick (Dawn Poole) Kriesky of Murfreesboro, TN, and Bill (Kay) Kriesky of Benton, KY; five grandchildren, Heath Hosford, Matt (Brittany) Kriesky, Will (Casey) Kriesky, Karen Kriesky, and Katie Kriesky; and four great grandchildren, Lynnlee Kriesky, Griffin Kriesky, Brayden Kriesky, and Ella Kate Kriesky.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by four siblings, Sally Oakley, Pat Pomeroy, Rich Pomeroy, and Donna Aleto.

Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap Street, Paris, TN.  The body is to be cremated.  A graveside memorial prayer service will be held Sunday, July 28, 2019, at 2:00 pm at Memorial Cemetery in Paris, TN.

Burial of cremains will follow the service in Memorial Cemetery.
