Jonathan Lee “Johnny” Fanning, age 57 of Paris, TN, died Monday, July 24, 2017.
He attended Palestine United Methodist Church. He formerly worked at B & G Equipment in Paris, TN for several years. He was a “jack of all trades” and an avid hunter.
Johnny was born on December 12, 1959, in Jacksonville, FL, to the late James Edward Fanning and the late Sylvia Roney Fanning Dobbs.
He was married June 14, 1994, to Edythe Kathryn Grischbowsky Fanning, who survives, of Paris, TN.
Along with his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Jennifer Lynn (Daniel) Houtari of Michigan, and Jessica Lee (Miguel) Caraballo of Colorado; one son, Jonathan Levi Fanning of Paris, TN; three brothers, James Edward Fanning of Paris, TN, William Joel (Lola) Fanning of San Antonio, TX, and Steven Dobbs of Tyler, TX; three grandchildren; and step-father, Randy Dobbs of Tyler, TX.
Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap St, Paris, TN.
The body is to be cremated. A memorial service will be held Saturday, July 29, 2017, at 2:00 p.m. at Palestine United Methodist Church, with Steve Gallimore officiating.
