Johnny Pierce

Johnny Ray Pierce, age 57 of Paris, TN, died Sunday, September 26, 2021, at Saint Thomas West Hospital in Nashville, TN.

He worked for many years in maintenance for Knott’s Foods in Paris.  Johnny enjoyed working on cars and going to the lake.  He loved western movies.

Johnny was born April 26, 1964, in Chicago, IL, to the late George C. Pierce and Susie A. Patrum Pierce.

He is survived by his fiancée, Vanessa Beaven of Paris; one daughter, Ashlan Shelton and fiancé Tyler Leach of Edwards, MS; two sons, Bert Pierce (Jessica Donnawell) of Paris, and Johnny Pierce, Jr., of Murray, KY; two stepchildren, Cecil Benefiel, Jr., and Jocelyn Benefiel; one sister, Naoma Birmingham of Paris; and one brother, Roy Pierce of Paris; and five grandchildren, Xander Pierce, Carlee Pierce, Thomas Colt Leach, Alex Robinson, and Neveah Nolan.

He was preceded in death by one brother, Jimmy Pierce.

Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap Street, Paris, TN, 38242.  The body is to be cremated with no services planned at this time.
