John Polcyn

John A. Polcyn, age 86, of Paris, Tenn., died Thursday, July 16, 2015, at Henry County Medical Center in Paris, Tenn.

He married December 10, 1949 to Gladys Gertrude "Judy" Guidice Polcyn and she died March 15, 2010.

John was a member of Holy Cross Catholic Church.    He retired after 23 years from the US Army and  he was  a Purple Heart recipient.

He was born October 6, 1928 in South Bend, IN to  the late George B. Polcyn and the late Mary Siatkowski Polcyn.

He is survived by his  One Daughter,  Patricia "Pat" Lee O'Leary of Colorado Springs, Colo;  Two Sons,  John Polcyn of Spring, TX,  Steve (Suzie) Polcyn of Colorado Springs, Colo;  6 Grandchildren;  7 Great Grandchildren; and 7 Great-Great Grandchildren.

John was also preceded in death by a Son,  Doug Polcyn;  Son-In-Law,  Michael O'Leary and One  Grandson, David Michael Polcyn.

Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap St., Paris, Tenn.  He is to be cremated with Memorial Visitation from 9 – 10 am Tuesday, July 21, 2015 with the Memorial Service at 10 am at  LeDon Chapel of Ridgeway Funeral Home Tuesday, July 21, 2015.

Randy Stephens will officiate.

In lieu of flowers, Memorials may be made to the charity of your choice.
