JoEtta Kathleen Paschall, age 78 of Puryear, died Monday June 12, 2017 at Towne Square Care of Puryear.
She was a member of North Fork Baptist Church and was active in Young at Heart at Puryear Baptist Church and North Fork Baptist Church. She also regularly attended Sanders Senior Center in Paris and Murray Senior Center in Murray. She loved reading, and any type of music.
JoEtta was born June 4, 1939, in Elmhurst, IL, to the late John George Weiher, Sr. and the late Jennie Elizabeth Springer Weiher.
She was married on December 5, 1959 to Vernon Hugh Paschall who preceded her in death on July 14, 1979.
She is survived by two daughters, Marilyn Glaab of Puryear, TN, and Carolyn Kaminski of Puryear, TN; one son, Steven (Tina) Paschall of Puryear, TN; two brothers, John G. (Joyce) Weiher, Jr. of Paris, TN, and Robert (Judith) Weiher of Belvidere, IL; six grandchildren, Matthew (Stephanie) Sykes, Mason (Katrina) Sykes, Ashley Kaminski, Whitney Kaminski, Benjamin Paschall, and Kathleen (Chase) Walker; five great grandchildren; and special friends, Jason (Stephanie) Walker and family.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by a son-in-law, Donald R. Glaab.
Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap St, Paris, TN. Visitation will be Thursday, June 15, 2017 from 4 - 8 pm at Ridgeway Funeral Home, and continue on Friday June 16, 2017 from 9 - 11 am at North Fork Baptist Church. The funeral service will be at 11:00 am Friday, June 16, 2017 at North Fork Baptist Church with Randy Kuykendall officiating.
Pallbearers will be Mason Sykes, Matthew Sykes, Benjamin Paschall, Chase Walker, John Weiher III, Tilman Paschall, and Brandon Weiher. Roy Paschall is named as an honorary pallbearer.
Burial will follow in Paschall Cemetery in Puryear, TN.
