Joe Scott Green, age 60, of Paris, Tenn., died Sunday, October 18, 2015, at his residence in Paris, Tenn. He married August 19, 1978, to Reva Buie Green, who survives. He was a retired mechanic for the Henry Co. Highway Department, a member of Shady Grove Baptist Church and he enjoyed motorcycles, yard work, being outdoors & traveling.
He was the son of the late Bennie Green and Carolyn Greenup Green of Paris, Tenn.
Besides his wife and mother, Mr. Green is also survived by a daughter: Keri Ann (Jacob) Robinson of Paris, Tenn.; a grandchild, Decker Robinson of Paris, Tenn., several aunts, uncles, a nephew and several cousins.
Pallbearers for the service are Terry Flanagan, William Clary, Howard Greenup, Timmy Barnhill, Barry Williams and Larry Greenup. Ellis Greenup and Delmas Greenup will serve as Honorary Pallbearers.
Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap St. - P.O. Box 788, Paris, Tenn., where the family will receive friends from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM Tuesday, October 20, 2015 and from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM Wednesday, October 21, 2015. The funeral service will be at LeDon Chapel of Ridgeway Funeral Home at 11:00 AM Wednesday, October 21, 2015, with Wilbur Farmer officiating. Interment will be at Shady Grove Cemetery in Paris, Tenn.
