Joe Dunn, Sr.

Joe Paul Dunn, Sr., age 81 of Paris, died Sunday, November 03, 2019, at the Plumley Rehab Center in Paris.

Joe retired from the Henry County Highway Department where he was a security guard. He attended Friendship Baptist Church and loved country music.

Born March 17, 1938, in Paris, he was the son of the late John A. Dunn, Sr., and the late Mary Louise McFarland Dunn.

He is survived by his son, Joe Paul Dunn, Jr., of Paris; three sisters, Joyce A. Thompson and special friend Clifford Pittman and Judy Hakenjos both of Paris, and Elizabeth G. Massengill of Memphis; and a brother, John A. Dunn, Jr, of Paris.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Mary M. Paschall and LaRue Dunn; and two brothers, JD Dunn and David Earl Dunn.

Ridgeway Funeral Home 201 Dunlap St., Paris, TN 38242 will be handling the arrangements. His graveside service will be held Tuesday, November 5, 2019, at 11 am at Bethesda Cemetery with Charles T. Cate officiating.

Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
