Jo Ann Pace

Jo Ann Pace, age 83 of Buchanan, TN, died Thursday, April 23, 2020, at her residence.

She retired after many years as a County Coordinator over the elderly nutrition program for the Northwest TN Economic Council. She was a Christian by faith, who loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, great grandchildren, and her dog Tiger. Jo Ann enjoyed crocheting, quilting, and gardening.

Jo Ann was born December 28, 1936 in Centerville, TN, to the late Paul Hinson and to the late Annie Udean Horner Hinson.

She was married June 23, 1953, to Vernon Joe Pace, who preceded her in death February 14, 2008.

She is survived by her two daughters, Deborah Pace of Buchanan, TN, and Diane (Jimmy) Lipford of Buchanan, TN; one son, Bobby (Ethel) Pace of Buchanan, TN; four grandchildren, Bobby (Christine) Keatts of Buchanan, TN, Crystal (Tommy) Hutson of Buchanan, TN, Shaunda Pace of Erin, TN, and Jason Pace of Buchanan, TN; eight great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

Along with her parents and late husband, she was preceded in death by one son, Randy Pace; two brothers, John Hinson and James Hinson; and one great grandchild, Ryan Hutson.

Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap Street, Paris, TN.  The body is to be cremated with no services planned at this time.
