Jimmy W. Little, age 73 of Springville, TN, died Tuesday, November 21, 2017, at Henry County Health Care in Paris, TN.

He retired as a law enforcement officer, serving in many capacities of law enforcement for 31 years.  He was a Vietnam veteran and an active member of Russwood Baptist Church.  He loved fishing, hunting, and was a Mason.

Jimmy was born September 15, 1944, in Union City, TN, to the late J.W. Little and the late Jennie Mae Jennings Forrester.

He was married December 6, 1986, to Dawn Anita Cesar Little, who survives, of Springville, TN.

Along with his wife, he is also survived by four children, Travis (Whitney) Little of Rutherford, TN, Nikki (Jeff) Sana of Wheaton, IL, Matt (Cherie) Uthe of Plainfield, IL, and Mark Wise of Plainfield, IL; four sisters, Gladys (Mike) Dwyer of Romeoville, IL, Wanda Aten and fiancé Quint of Madison, AL, Dolores (Butch) Crosier of Cape Coral, FL, Pat (Bobby) Kinsey of Dardonelle, AR; and one brother, Tom (Debbie) Evans of Springville, TN; and seven grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by a stepfather, Randall Harold Forrester, Sr; and a brother, Randall Harold Forrester, Jr.

Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap St, Paris, TN where visitation will be Friday, November 24, 2017, from 5:00 pm – 8:00 pm at Ridgeway Funeral Home, and continue Saturday, November 25, 2017, from 10:00 am – 11: 00 am at Russwood Baptist Church in Springville, TN.  The funeral service will be held Saturday, November 25, 2017, at 11:00 am at Russwood Baptist Church with Rev. Raymond Eaton officiating.

Serving as pallbearers will be Mike Taylor, Butch Taylor, Bobby Compton, Earl McAlister, Tom Evans, Harvey McGourk, Billy Reese, and Michael Rogers.

Burial will follow in New Liberty Cemetery in Buchanan, TN.
