Jimmy D. Hainley, age 73, of Springville, TN, died Friday, January 20, 2017, at his residence in Springville, TN.
Jimmy retired as a telephone technician from Bellsouth with 30 years of service. He was a former member of the Tennessee National Guard. He attended Springville Church of Christ, and was an avid fisherman.
He was born April 25, 1943, in Springville, TN, to the late Wright Hainley and the late Bessie Hainline Hainley.
Jimmy was married March 3, 1983, to Jinelle Wallace Hainley, who survives.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by one daughter, Tamara Realini of Columbia, TN; one son, Barry (Robin) Hainley of Paris, TN; one step-daughter, Angie (Larry) Pennington of Paris, TN; one step-son, Tony (Diana) Miles of Paris, TN; one sister, Lois Smith of Kirksey, KY; one brother, Tom (Madona) Hainley of Springville, TN; one grandson and best friend, Gage Hainley; four step-grandchildren, Linzy (Scott) Smith, Jazmine (Collins) Wiles, Neaveh Miles, and Brandon Miles; and a special companion, his black lab, Frankie.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by four sisters, Opal Pritchett, Allie Mae Smith, Georgia Howard, and Ardell Davis; and two brothers, Huey and Jack Hainley.
Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap St, Paris, TN, where visitation will be Sunday, January 22, 2017 from 4 p.m. – 7 p.m., and Monday, January 23, 2017, from 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. at Ridgeway Funeral Home. The funeral service will be Monday, January 23, 2017, at 1:00 pm at LeDon Chapel of Ridgeway Funeral Home, with Charles T. Cate officiating.
Serving as pallbearers are Barry Hainley, Gage Hainley, Larry Pennington, Tony Miles, Doug Smith, and Mark Smith.
Burial will be in Poplar Grove Cemetery in Springville, TN.
