Jimmy Dan "Jim" Hutson

Jimmy Dan “Jim” Hutson, age 73 of Gleason, TN, died Tuesday, September 26, 2023, at Henry County Medical Center in Paris.

He was a member of the Church of Christ.  Jim was a former mold tech at Plumley Marugo where he was a plant manager in McKenzie, TN.  He most recently worked as a self-employed pilot car/oversize load escort.  He enjoyed fishing.

Jim was born January 17, 1950, in Buchanan, TN, to the late Rudy Cleveland Hutson and the late Mabel Lassiter Hutson.

He was married February 11, 2011, to his wife Deborah Brown Hutson, who survives, of Gleason, TN.

Along with his wife, he is also survived by five sons, Jamie Hutson of St. Louis, MO, Joey (Christina) Hutson of Puryear, TN, Tommy (Crystal) Hutson of Buchanan, TN, Chip (Lisa) Hutson of Buchanan, TN, and Josh (Jessica Evans) Hutson of Murray, KY; three step daughters; two sisters, Bettye Hinson of Dover, TN, Sherry (Jamie) Miller of Jackson, TN; two brothers, Bill (Joan) Hutson of Buchanan, TN, Mike (Pam) Hutson of Cottage Grove, TN; eight grandchildren, Hannah Hutson, Britian Hutson, Charly Hutson, Brevin Hutson, Jack Hutson, Grady Hutson, Mary Mabel Hutson, and Alyssa Watkins; and six step grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by one sister, Carol Fayette; and two brothers, Rex Hutson and Don Hutson. 

Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap Street/PO Box 788, Paris, TN 38242.  The body is to be cremated.  A celebration of life will be held Saturday, September 30, 2023, from 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm at Sulphur Well Church of Christ, 1760 Oak Grove Road S, Springville, TN 38256.
