Jessie Marie Thomas, 76, of Puryear, Tennessee died Monday, August 19, 2013 in Murray-Callaway County Hospital after a brief illness.
She was born March 8, 1937 in Carter County, Kentucky, a daughter of the late Ed and Sarah Hutchinson. She was a homemaker who loved to garden and loved her cats. She was a member of the Buchanan United Methodist Church.
Jessie is preceded in death by two brothers, Joe and Elvis Hutchinson.
She is survived by her husband, of 55 years, Curtis Thomas of Puryear ; two sons, Steve Thomas of Fredrick ,MD. and Curtis (Carrie) Thomas of Brownstown, MI ; six brothers, Randel, Arthur, LeeRoy, Harold, Ralph, and Truman; six sisters, Belvia, Wilma, Deloris, Kay, Jackie and Arvilla; grandchildren, Robert, Sheri, Jill and Kenny; Several nieces and nephews .
Funeral Services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, August 23, 2013 at Sparks Funeral Home in Grayson, Fred Wiles, minister. Burial will follow at the Cribbs Hill Cemetery near Grayson.
Friends may call from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 22, 2013 at the funeral home.
Burial will follow in the Cribbs Hill Cemetery near Grayson.
