Jesse Odell Hatman, age 84 of Paris, TN, died Thursday, May 16, 2019, at Henry County Healthcare Center in Paris, TN.
He retired after many years as a dairy farmer. He also retired from Carpet World near Hazel, KY, where he won salesman of the year every year but one. Jesse worked hard all of his life. He was a member of Kentucky Lake Church of Christ in Buchanan, TN.
Jesse was born July 10, 1934, in Walnut Ridge, AR, to the late Marvin Hatman and the late Artie Cozart Hatman.
He was married in 1955 to Sarah Anzonetta Ross, who preceded him in death.
He is survived by two sons, Douglas Hatman of Texas, and Noel (Patti) Hatman of Paris, TN; one daughter, Lenette (Bridgie) Cawthon of Jackson, TN; one son-in-law, Gary Keasler of Pendleton, SC; eight grandchildren, Amanda (Daniel) Pawley; Carly Underwood, A.J. (Julie) Underwood, Jason (Amy) Hatman, M.J. Pinchback, Blake Pinchback, Colton Keasler, and Cayce Keasler; and four great grandchildren, Peyton Underwood, Alexa Hatman, Mya Hatman, and Mattie Hatman.
In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by one daughter, Becky Hatman Keasler; four sisters, Rhudean Halstead, Wanoah Draper, Marlene Moyers, and Betty Cates; and three brothers, Doyle Hatman, Alton Dwayne Hatman, and Dennis Hatman.
Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap St, Paris, TN. Visitation will be Saturday, May 18, 2019, from 11:00 am – 2:00 pm at Ridgeway Funeral Home, with the funeral service beginning at 2:00 pm at LeDon Chapel of Ridgeway Funeral Home, with Edward Smith officiating.
Family will serve as pallbearers.
Burial will be in Hillcrest Memorial Park in Paris, TN.
