William Jerry Norton, age 74 of Buchanan, TN, died Tuesday, March 5, 2019, at his residence in Buchanan, TN.
He retired as a self-employed framing contractor. Jerry enjoyed working, loved fishing, and enjoyed discussing politics.
Jerry was born July 1, 1944, in Springville, TN, to the late Bonnie Brooks “BB” Norton and the late Ara Robbins Norton.
He was married May 11, 1961, to Patricia Carol Turner Norton, who preceded him in death on March 27, 2016.
He is survived by one daughter, Tonya Morris of Buchanan, TN; one son, Tony (Melanie) Norton of Jackson, TN; three grandchildren, Kacie (Aaron) Hurst of Paducah, KY, Dustin (Alyssa) Morris of Buchanan, TN, and Kye Norton of Paris, TN; and three great grandchildren, Jeren Norton, Jayce Norton, and Hudson Hurst.
Arrangements will be handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap St., Paris, TN, 38242. Visitation will be Tuesday, March 5, 2019, from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm at Ridgeway Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held Tuesday, March 5, 2019, at 3:00 pm at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Paris, TN, with Chad Kennedy officiating.
Burial will follow the graveside service in Hillcrest Memorial Park.
