Jeffrey Thomas "Jeff" Davis

Jeffrey Thomas “Jeff” Davis, age 51, of Paris, Tenn., died Monday, May  9, 2016, at Henry County Medical Center in Paris, Tenn.

He was a member of Oak Hill Baptist Church.   Jeff was a former truck driver and worked in the Trucking Brokerage Business for several years.   He was also a former farmer with his father on the family farm.   Jeff enjoyed music, watching movies, playing his guitar, and he loved his dogs.

He was born September 25, 1964 in Paris, TN to Billy Tom Davis who preceded in death and Bobbie Jo Ridgway Davis of Paris, TN.

He was married September 20, 2003 to Judy Smith Davis and she survives.  Besides his Wife and Mother, he is also survived by his one Step-Daughter, Amy Ledford of Paris, Tenn;  one Step-Son, Billy Clayton of Paris, Tenn;  one Sister,  Jennifer Ann Davis of Camden, Tenn; one Brother, Danny (Tammy) Davis of Leesburg, Va;  three Step-Grandchildren, Joseph Robertson, Daniel Clayton, and K.K. Whittier; two Nieces, Miranda McNutt, and Adrianne McNutt and Fiance Dustin Foust;  and seven Great Nieces and Nephews, Blake Barrett, Bradley Barrett, Briley Barrett, Rebecca McNutt, Taylor Warden, Keirra Jo Foust, and Kylee Foust.

Besides his Father, Jeff was also preceded in death by a sister, Sheilah Davis.

Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap St., Paris, Tenn., where the visitation will be from 4 – 7 pm Wednesday, May 11, 2016 and from 10 – 11 am Thursday, May 12, 2016.  The Funeral Service will be at LeDon Chapel of Ridgeway Funeral Home at 11:00 am Thursday, May 12, 2016 with Kenneth Beal officiating.

Pallbearers will be Danny Davis, David Underwood, Brian Wimberley, Johnny Paschall, Blake Barrett, and Bradley Barrett.   Daniel Clayton is named as an Honorary Pallbearer.

Interment will be at Oak Hill Cemetery on Hwy 69 North of Paris, Tenn.
