Peggy Jean Lamb age 64 of Paris died Sunday, December 15, 2019, at the Jackson Madison County General Hospital.
Jeanne was a retired legal secretary who had worked for over 30 years alongside Brown Hawley in his law practice. She enjoyed watching sports, working outside, mowing her yard and fishing. She was a member of Sulphur Well Church of Christ.
Born February 23, 1955, in Clinton, KY, she was the daughter of the late Hilary Deweese and the late Peggy Ann Richardson Smith.
Jeanne married Charles Michael “Mike” Lamb August 16, 1973, who preceded her in death on January 20, 2005.
She is survived by her sons, Travis (Emily) Lamb of Brentwood, TN, and Tyler (Elizabeth) Lamb of New Orleans, LA; two brothers, Don (Faythe) Deweese of Charleston, SC, and Joe (Barbara) Deweese of Fulton, KY; three grandchildren, Charlie Lamb, Patrick Lamb, Liddy Lamb; and an aunt, Sarah Lynn (Jeff) Collins of South Fulton, KY.
Pallbearers for the service are Travis Lamb, Tyler Lamb, Jeff Collins, Don Deweese, Harry Cowan, and Brown Hawley.
Ridgeway Funeral Home 201 Dunlap St. Paris, TN 38242 will be handling the arrangements. Visitation will be Tuesday, December 17, 2019, from 10 am until 11am. The funeral service will be held Tuesday, December 17, 2019, at 11 am in LeDon Chapel of Ridgeway Funeral Home with Randy Stephens officiating.
Burial will follow in Roselawn Memory Gardens.
