Jean Hollingsworth Ross

Jean Hollingsworth Ross, age 76 of Big Sandy, TN, died Sunday, January 7, 2018, at Saint Thomas West Hospital in Nashville, TN.
She was a member of Grace Baptist Church in Paris, TN, and attended First Baptist Church of Big Sandy, TN. She loved her family, her flowers, and fishing.
Jean was born August 18, 1941, in Henry County to the late Edgar Wales Robbins and the late Elsie Louise Hopkins Robbins.
She was married March 12, 1964, to Glenn Hollingsworth, who preceded her in death on August 2, 1997. She later married Roy Ross on September 30, 2017, who survives, of Big Sandy, TN.
She is also survived by six children, Kenitha DeSaulnier of Paris, TN, Teresa (Tommy) Willis of Paris, TN, Tabby (Kenny) Barber of Springville, TN, Cheyenne (Nigel) Rudolph of Gainsville, FL, Summer (Bradley) Justice of Fullerton, CA, and Keith Chapman of Paris, TN; two stepchildren, Steve (Tracy) Ross of Clarksville, TN, and Marty (Hailey) Ross of Big Sandy, TN; three sisters, Priscilla Chapman of Paris, TN, Georgia Ramsay of Paris, TN, and Rowena (Shorty) Roney of Paris, TN; one stepsister, Carolyn (David) Yarbrough of Sun City, AZ; four brothers, Louis (Ann) Robbins of Mt. Juliet, TN, Monroe (Margie) Robbins of Paris, TN, Telly Robbins of Santa Clara, CA, and Eddie (Tina) Robbins of Paris, TN; two stepbrothers, Billy (Peggy) Grooms of Paris, TN, and Tommy Grooms of Milwaukee, WI; numerous grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.
Along with her parents and former husband, she was also preceded in death by three sons, Ronnie DeBartolo, Kenny Hollingsworth, and Mark Stewart; two sisters, Ruby Evans and Cindy Robbins; one stepsister, Barbara Johnson; one brother, Wales Robbins; and two stepbrothers, Robert Grooms and Jimmy Grooms.
Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap St, Paris, TN, where visitation will be Tuesday, January 9, 2018, from 4:00 pm – 7:00 pm, and continue Wednesday, January 10, 2018, from 9:00 am – 11:00 am. The funeral service will be Wednesday, January 10, 2018, at 11:00 am at LeDon Chapel of Ridgeway Funeral Home, with Daryl Lewis and Jack Thacker officiating.
Serving as pallbearers will be Louis Robbins, Monroe Robbins, Telly Robbins, Eddie Robbins, Bill Lutz, and Vic Garcia.
Burial will be in Community Cemetery in Springville, TN.
