Jean Martin

Jean Martin, age 87 of Buchanan, died Saturday, December 12, 2020, at The Farms of Puryear.

Mrs. Jean was a member of New Liberty Church of Christ, who enjoyed gardening.

She was married December 24, 1954, to Joe V. Martin, who preceded her in death, April 24, 1996.

Mrs. Jean was born January 23, 1933, in Henry County, to the late Ivey Rowlett and to the late Hinda Moody Rowlett.

She is survived by daughter in law, Glenda Martin of Murray, KY; two grandchildren, Zachary Martin and special friend Stacey Lee of Murray, and Brad (Kristen) Martin of Hebron, KY; and three great grandchildren, Landon, Carter, Callie.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Larry Joe Martin; and one sister, Dorothy Whitworth.

Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap St/PO Box 788, Paris, TN 38242.  There will be a graveside service, Sunday, December 13, 2020, at 2:00 p.m., at Martin Cemetery, 500 Freeland Ln, Buchanan, TN 38222, with Mike Wimberley officiating.

Burial will follow in Martin Cemetery in Buchanan.
