Jay Todd Harrell, age 47 of Nashville, TN, formerly of Paris, TN died Tuesday February 3, 2015 in Nashville. Jay was well known in the Automotive industry in Nashville for many years.
He was a member of Crosspoint Church in Nashville and strong in his faith. He was the New Car Sales Manager at Lexus of Nashville for 14 years. He was the former co-owner of Music City Motorsports and former General Sales Manager of Penske Wynn Ferrari and Maserati in Las Vegas, NV. Jay was the Inventor/Creator of D-tagz which is a product used by auto dealers all across the nation. He was Sports enthusiast and enjoyed all watersports, traveling, motorcycles and was an avid music lover.
He is survived by his wife, Jennifer Johnson Harrell of Nashville, TN; Daughters, Courtland Harrell of Franklin, TN, Taylor Harrell of Dallas, TX and their mother, Gina Rainey Harrell of Franklin, TN; Step Daughter, Dalton Pursley; Parents, Shirley Thompson Harrell of Cardwell, MO and Ernest Junior "Ernie" Harrell of Alamo Texas; Two Sisters, Jeris (Kenny) Harrell Hamm of Ramer, TN, and Jan (Steve) Harrell Young of Rayville, MO; Two Brothers, Max (Nancy) Harrell of Kansas City, MO, and Mark (Janice) Harrell of Dickson TN; Special Family, Joe and Rita Rainey of Puryear, TN; and a host of extended family and friends.
Jay was preceded in death by a daughter, Morgan Harrell.
Visitation will be at Ridgeway Funeral Home in Paris, TN Friday February 6, 2015 from 4 – 7 pm and Saturday after 11 am until the service at 1:00 pm at Ridgeway Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Walker Cemetery North of Paris.
Dale Smith Thomas and Daughters, Courtland and Taylor Harrell will speak at the service. Pallbearers will be Terry Milam, Ron Thompson, Neil Buettner, Drew Claudel, Chris Scott, and James Dowland.
