Janice Lewis

Janice Morris Lewis age 65 of Paris, died Sunday, December 27, 2020, at the Henry County Medical Center.

Janice was formerly a teacher’s assistant at Lakeside Christian Fellowship. She enjoyed fishing, making crafts, and reading. She was a member of Grace Baptist Church.

Born April 7, 1955, in Gleason, she was the daughter of the late Walter Morris and the late Nina Orr Morris Wynn.

Survivors include four children, Mary St. Clair of Paris, Jennifer (Corey) Eldridge of Woodlawn, TN, Mandy (Denny) Hobson of Paris, and Chris Lewis of Paris; a sister, Sue (Ronnie) Singleton of Paris; two brothers, William “Buddy” Morris and Roy Morris, both of Paris; ten grandchildren, Jon Tyler, Kelli (Brandon) Jewell, Brittany (Dallas) Dunaway, Michael St. Clair, Trent “TJ” Ray, Lacey Eldridge, Dylan Eldridge, Briana (Tyler) Fox, Abigail Hobson, and Jacob Hobson; five great grandchildren, Tiffany Tyler, Addison Tyler, McKenna Jewell, Channing Dunaway, and Declan Dunaway; and her two dogs, Buttercup and Daisy Maye.

In addition to her parents, Janice was preceded in death by three sisters, Vesta Maye “Cricket” Bratton, Joyce Parham, and Dorothy Wilson; three brothers, Sherman Morris, Herman Morris, and Kenneth Morris; and her former husband Michael Lewis.

Ridgeway Funeral Home 201 Dunlap St./ PO Box 788 Paris, TN 38242 will be handling the arrangements. Visitation will be Thursday, December 31, 2020, from 10 am until 1 pm. Her funeral service will be held Thursday, December 31, 2020, at 1 pm in LeDon Chapel of Ridgeway Funeral Home with William “Buddy” Morris and Denny Hobson officiating.

Pallbearers for the service are Corey Eldridge, Kenny Wilson, Calvin Morris, Ron Singleton, Ronnie Singleton, and Tyler Fox.

Burial will be in Hillcrest Memorial Park in Paris, TN.
