Janice Britton

Janice Dale Britton, age 74 of Gleason, TN, died Thursday, August 24, 2017, at Weakley County Rehab & Nursing Centerin Dresden, TN.
She was a member of Jolley Springs Baptist Church. She worked as a waitress for several years in Paris, TN, and also formerly worked at H.I.S. in Gleason, TN. She enjoyed flowers, reading and watching TV.
Janice was born October 25, 1942, in Trenton, TN, to the late Zack Grant Harrison and the late Maurine Halbrook Harrison.
She was married to Jerry Moody, who survives, of Gleason, TN.
Along with her husband, she is also survived by one daughter, Sherry Lynn (Jimmy) Price of Gleason, TN; two sons, Ben Britton of Jackson, TN, and Christian Ashlar of Martin, TN; one sister, Deloris Love of Buchanan, TN; one brother, John D. Harrison of Buchanan, TN; two grandchildren, Amy Renee (Randy) Mallard, and James Brandon (Danielle) McClanahan III; and two great grandchildren, Kasey Ellis and Eli McClanahan.
In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by one infant daughter, Teresa Ann Moody; and one brother, Joseph Harrison.
Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap St, Paris, TN, where visitation will be Saturday, August 26, 2017, from 12:00 pm – 3:00 pm. The funeral service will be Saturday, August 26, 2017 at 3:00 pm at LeDon Chapel of Ridgeway Funeral Home, with Tony Michael officiating.
Pallbearers for the service will be Butch Perkins, Nicky Copeland, Aaron Copeland, and Brian Moody.
Burial will be in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Buchanan, TN.
