Janette Marie Weng

Janette Marie Weng, age 64 of Paris, died Wednesday, June 30, 2021, at home.

She grew up and attended school in Richmond, California. She worked as a secretary for Chevron in Richmond and Walnut Creek, CA, up until her retirement. After moving to Paris with her husband, she worked for Brian Tusa at Edward Jones of which she enjoyed so much.  Traveling was one of her passions along with quilting and visiting with her neighbors and friends. Janette loved to host parties and cook to fill up their stomachs. She loved her husband tremendously.

Janette was born November 13, 1956, to her father, the late Joseph A. Furey and her mother, Ruth B. Newman Furey, currently living at Morningside of Paris.

Janette was married on June 2, 1984, to Russell Weng, who survives, of Paris.

Besides her mother and husband, she is also survived by one brother, Joey (Margie) Furey; two sisters, Kathy (Jerry) Clark and Susan Furey; and nieces and nephews, Matt, Katie, Kalea Grace, Liam, Wren, Eli, and Myles.

Arrangements were handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap St./P.O. Box 788 Paris, TN.  She is to cremated and no services are planned at this time.
