Jamie “Bones” Brown, age 70 of Paris, TN, died Friday, December 29, 2023, at his son’s residence.
He was a former supervisor with Heilig-Myers Furniture and the owner & operator of T-Bones Tavern in Paris. Bones enjoyed riding his Harley and hanging out with his friends. He enjoyed watching old westerns and loved his dogs, Dolly and Buffy.
Jamie was born September 1, 1953, in Dyersburg, TN, to the late James Wilburn Brown and Nora Faye Privett Cook, who survives, of Dyersburg, TN.
Along with his mother, he is also survived by his longtime companion, Lorie Thomason of Paris, TN; three children, John Brown of Paris, TN, Becky Woods of Crockett Mills, TN, and Susan Hart of Arlington, TN; three siblings, Lisa Able of Dyer, TN, Alan Cook of Dyersburg, TN, and Linda Henry of Dyersburg, TN; 13 grandchildren, Lakota, Jacob, Aberie, James, Asher, Justin, Hannah, Nash, Laurel, Emma, Sam, Jack, and Stella; one great grandson, Eli; and several nieces and nephews.
Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap St, Paris, TN. Visitation will be Friday, January 5, 2024, from 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm at Ridgeway Funeral Home, with cremation to follow.
A gathering will follow visitation at T-Bones Tavern, 3485 Hwy 641 S, Paris, TN 38242.
