James Rolin Clark, age 90 of Paris, TN, died Wednesday, November 29, 2017, at Paris Healthcare & Rehabilitation Center in Paris, TN.
He was a member of Whitlock Church of Christ. He retired from DuPont in New Johnsonville, TN after 36 years as a heavy equipment operator where he received several awards including a certificate of achievement for management training progress and a safety achievement award for 30 years of safety performance. James loved taking pictures, mowing and gardening. He also loved Buick cars and anything John Deere.
James was born September 24, 1927 in Paris, TN to the late McKinley Clark and the late Ada Dumas Clark.
He was married on June 30, 1967 to Frances Cooper Clark and she survives of Paris, TN.
He is also survived by two daughters, Deborah (Mack) Chambers of Paris, TN, and Sharon Clark of Paris, TN; two grandchildren, Jeremy Crutchfield and Derrick Crutchfield; and two great grandchildren, Micah Cunningham and Amari Crutchfield.
Besides his parents, James was also preceded in death by two sisters, Robbie Oliver and Pearline Gibson; and one brother, John Clark.
Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap St, Paris, TN. Visitation will be Friday, December 1, 2017, from 5 - 7 pm at Ridgeway Funeral Home, and continue on Saturday, December 2, 2017, from 11 am - 12 pm at Sparks Street Church of Christ.
The funeral service will be Saturday, December 2, 2017, at 12:00 pm at Sparks Street Church of Christ with Minister Jim Franklin Bumpas and Minister Edward Howard officiating.
Pallbearers will be Leroy Morris, Jim McCampbell, Dewey Ealey, Harry Cowan, Delvin Milliken, and Thomas Tharpe, Jr.
Named as honorary pallbearers are Mack Chambers, Reginald Caldwell, Chris Nored, Harrison Cowan, and Winston Bumpass.
Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery in Paris, TN.
