James Monroe Wilson, age 63 of Paris, TN, formerly of Mansfield, TN, died Thursday, December 9, 2021, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Huntingdon, TN.
He was a dairy farmer for many years who also formerly worked at Perkins Drugs and Pizza Hut in Paris. James graduated from Henry County High School and was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church in Henry, TN. He received the American Farmer Degree in FFA and was an avid sports fan, especially of the Tennessee Volunteers and St. Louis Cardinals.
James was born April 11, 1958, in Mansfield, TN, to the late Clyde Wilson and the late Mairine Arrington Wilson.
He is survived by one sister, Sue (Jim) LaFreniere of Cottage Grove, TN; one brother, Finas (Sarah) Wilson of Mansfield, TN; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by one sister, Virginia Allen.
Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap Street/PO Box 788, Paris, TN 38242. A graveside service will be held Sunday, December 12, 2021, at 4:00 pm at Bethlehem Baptist Church Cemetery in Henry, TN, with Joe Eaton officiating.
James’ nephews will serve as pallbearers.
Burial will follow the graveside service in Bethlehem Baptist Church Cemetery.
