James Lowell "Jim" Nance, Jr., age 65, of Puryear, Tenn., died Tuesday, May 3, 2016, at Henry County Medical Center in Paris, Tenn.
Born July 28, 1950, in Detroit, Michigan, he was the son the late James Lowell Nance, Sr. and the late Betty Blair Nance.
Jim was a U.S. Army Veteran who received a Purple Heart and was a member of the Combat Vets Association Motorcycle Club. He was the former owner and operator of "Izonu"-Eyes on You-Barber Shop and also Ringmaster Tattoo both in Paris.
He is survived by his three sons, Stephen (Heather) Nance of Dresden, Tenn., Dustin Bynum of Ft. Worth, Texas and Jimmy Russell of Nashville, Tenn.; Two Daughters, Hope (Troy) Saylors of Nashville, Tenn, and Julia Nance of Tallahassee, FL ; Four Brothers, Michael (Marci) Nance of Nashville, Tenn., Jerry (Tami) Nance of Paris, Tenn., David Nance of Paris, Tenn. and Bill Nance of Puryear, Tenn; three grandchildren, Spencer Saylors, Peyton Nix and Preslie Nix; and one Uncle, Ed Blair of South Bend, Indiana.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother John Nance.
Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap St, Paris, TN.
His body will be cremated, no service is planned.
