James "Jim" Riley

James "Jim" Millard Riley, age 77, of Paris, Tenn., died Friday, October 16, 2015, at his residence in Paris, Tenn.

Jim married Nancy Jean Pickard-Riley June 16, 1986 and she preceded in death February 24, 2011.

He was a member of West Paris Baptist Church, retired from the Army National Guard, and formerly served in the Navy.    Jim formerly worked as a security Guard with Holley Carburetor Plant and was a member of the Paris Moose Lodge.   He was an Avid Sportsman who enjoyed fishing and hunting, but his real love was umpiring for many years for Little League, Softball, College Baseball and Softball games, traveling statewide for tournaments and world series events.

He was born December 19, 1937 in Springville, Tenn., to the late Roy Riley and the late Ruby Thelma Clendenin Riley.

He is survived by his Daughter, Dorra Ann Riley; a Son, Bobby Joe Riley; a Sister-in-law, Kathy (Don) Austin of Humboldt, TN; Sister-in-law, Jackie (Terry) Witherspoon of Paris, TN; Niece, Charity (Josh) Butler of Jackson, TN; Sister-in-law, Helen (Stephen) Prinz of Knoxville, TN; Brother-In-Law, John R. Dunlap, Jr. of Hendersonville, TN; Brother-In-Law, Freddie (LeAnn) Dunlap of North Bend, OR; Step Daughter, Theresa (Chris) Oman of Ft. Wayne, IN; Step Daughter, Melissa (Michael) Wever of Ft. Wayne, IN; Close Friends, Wilbur Farmer and Jack King; Several Grandchildren, Nieces, Nephews and Cousins.

Along with his wife, he was also preceded in death by a Sister, Mary Louise Riley and a Brother, Roy Riley, Jr.

Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap St. - P.O. Box 788, Paris, Tenn., where visitation will be from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM Tuesday, October 20, 2015 and from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM Wednesday, October 21, 2015.  Funeral service will be at LeDon Chapel of Ridgeway Funeral Home at 1:00 PM Wednesday, October 21, 2015.  Wilbur Farmer will officiate.

Pallbearers will be Jack King, Billy Ray Page, Alan Brisendine, Jerry Freeland, Terry Carter, Billy Page and John French.

Interment will be at Olive Branch Cemetery in Cottage Grove, Tenn.
