James Fredrick Wickham, age 65 of Paris, TN, died Friday, December 6, 2019, at his residence.
He retired after a long career working in assembly for factories in Michigan, Tennessee, and Kentucky, last working for Pella, Inc. He attended Landmark United Pentecostal Church in Big Sandy, TN. James loved his family very much, especially his children and grandchildren. He loved going to look at cars and trucks and enjoyed fishing in his earlier years in Michigan. He loved drag racing in his 1973 Chevy Vega during his younger years and he won several trophies.
James was born March 15, 1954, in Muskegon, MI, to the late Fredrick Willard Wickham, Sr., and the late Gertrude Irene Mead Wickham.
He was married November 17, 1973, to his wife of 46 years, Kathleen Susan Lintner Wickham, who survives, of Paris, TN.
Along with his wife, he is also survived by two daughters, Julie Ann Hemmes of Grand Haven, MI, and Jody Lynn (Charles) Brake of Dover, TN; one son, Chris Nickerson of Dover, TN; two sisters, Carol Ferguson of Gaylord, MI, and Martha Owen of Jessup, GA; three brothers, Barry Wickham of Traverse City, MI, Jerry (Melissa) Wickham of Thompsonville, MI, and Fredrick Wickham, Jr., of Harrietta, MI; nine grandchildren, Jasmine Hemmes, Caleb Hemmes, Anthony Hemmes, Caitlin Hemmes, Gabrielle Hemmes, Marissa Hemmes, Vanessa Hemmes, Tyler Brake, and Nicole Hustin; one sister-in-law, Diana (Jerry) Hartman; two brothers-in-law, Ron (Nadine) Lintner, and Steve (Kimberley) Kloc; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by two siblings in infancy, Lou Ann Wickham and Charles Keith Wickham; one additional sister, Karen Fry; and one additional brother, Ronald Keith Wickham.
Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap Street, Paris, TN. Visitation will be Friday, December 13, 2019, from 5:00 pm – 8:00 pm at Ridgeway Funeral Home. A memorial service will be held Saturday, December 14, 2019, at 1:00 pm at Landmark United Pentecostal Church, 117 Lincoln Street, Big Sandy, TN 38221.
