James Elroy Hart

James Elroy Hart, age 70 of Springville, TN, died Tuesday, October 10, 2017, at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, TN.
He was Christian in faith, and a member of New Hope Baptist Church in Paris, TN. He was a groundskeeper for the Paris Landing State Park Golf Course. He loved reading and gardening, enjoyed playing golf, and being outdoors. He served in the US Navy.
James was born March 11, 1947, in Paris, TN, to the late Everett Edward Hart and the late Mildred E. Nored Hart.
He was married January 29, 1978, to Patricia Ann Craig Hart, who preceded him in death on February 1, 1982.
He is survived by two nieces, Patryce (Michael) Cornett of Hopkinsville, KY, and Samantha Craig of Virginia Beach, VA; special friends, Natalie and Keith Hickman of Buchanan, TN; and several cousins.
Along with his parents, he was also preceded in death by two brothers, Charles Edward Hart and Johnny Hart.
Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap St, Paris, TN.
The body is to be cremated with memorial service to be held at a later date.
