James Andrew “Jimmy” Chowning, Jr., age 54, of Springville, TN, died Wednesday, February 15, 2017, at his residence in Springville, TN.
Jimmy was the assistant manager at AutoZone in Paris, TN. He loved craft work and working on cars. He enjoyed watching wrestling, loved music of all types, and enjoyed animals.
He was born January 26, 1963, in Gary, IN, to the late James Andrew Chowning, Sr. and JoAnn Denese Rork (James) Cleek, who survives, of Springville, TN.
Along with his mother and step-father, Jimmy is survived by two brothers, John Cleek of Halls, TN, and Bill Cleek of Camden, TN; one uncle, William “Bill” Mitchell of Gary, IN; one niece, Jennifer Cleek of Camden, TN; and one nephew, William Cleek of Kentucky.
Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap St, Paris, Tenn. The body will be cremated with no public services planned at this time.
