James David Marrs

James David Marrs, age 63 of Paris, TN, died Saturday, September 23, 2023, in Paris.

He was a United States Army Veteran. James enjoyed camping, fishing, and jet-skiing. He loved spending time with his family and eating out, especially at buffets.

James was born April 1, 1960, in Paris, TN, to the late William David Marrs and Peggy Ann Overcast Miller who survives of Paris.

Along with his mother, he is also survived by three children, Cheryl Marrs of Paris, Carter Marrs, and Caynen Marrs; three sisters, Lona Gail Holifield of Paris, Samantha Jane Ball of Huntingdon, TN, and Nancy Carol Singleton of Paris; three grandchildren, Steven Annis II, Noah Lee James Marrs, and Anna Claire Annis.

In addition to his father, he was also preceded in death by one sister, Pamela Jean Marrs and one brother, Johnny Wayne Marrs.

Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap Street/PO Box 788, Paris, TN 38242. The funeral service will be Tuesday, October 17, 2023, at 10:30 am at the West Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery at Parkers Crossroads in Wildersville, TN.

Burial will follow the service in the West Tennessee State Veterans’ Cemetery at Parkers Crossroads.
