James L. “Big Jim” Kinney, age 59, of Cottage Grove, Tenn., died Wednesday, September 16, 2015, at his Residence in Cottage Grove, Tenn.
He was married in July of 1992 to Susan Gail Hart Kinney and she survives.
“Big Jim” was a former Truck driver for Navajo Express in Jackson, TN. He loved to cook and enjoyed drag racing.
He was born February 25, 1956 in Columbus, OH to the late James Arthur Kinney and the late Betty Lou Eskew Kinney.
Besides his wife Susan, he is also survived by his Two Sons, Tandy G. Russell of Wichita, Kan, James E. Russell of Wichita, Kan; One Sister, Vivian Lou Kinney Ruddell of Mansfield, Tenn; One Grandchild, Phoebe M. Russell; Two Nieces, Rebecca Lynn (Kevin) Mayfield of Mansfield, TN, Mindy Lou (Brien) Hawks of Trenton, TN; Three Nephews, Donald James Ruddell of Manfield, TN, Michael Keith Ruddell of Fredericksburg, VA, Matthew Jay Ruddell of Hockley, TX; 8 Great Nieces and Nephews; and Special Pets, Alvin and Misty and Kitty.
Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap St., Paris, Tenn. He is to be cremated with a Memorial Service at his residence at 200 Cedar St., Cottage Grove, TN at 11:00 am Saturday, September 19, 2015.
