Jackie Ray Owen

Jackie Ray Owen, age 64 of Paris, TN, died Thursday, December 2, 2021, in Paris.

He was a self-employed carpenter for many years.  He was Baptist by belief.  Jackie enjoyed hunting and riding his motorcycles.  He was a member of the Christian Motorcyclist Association.

Jackie was born February 6, 1957, in Paris, TN, to the late Carlos Edward Owen and the late Melva Mae Starling Owen.

He was married in 1986 to Patricia Willoughby Owen, who survives, of Paris.

Along with his wife, he is also survived by one son, Joshua (Kim) Owen of Mansfield, TN; one sister, Eva (Ron) Dix of Paris; one brother, Larry (Debbie) Owen of Paris; three grandchildren, Layne Owen, Allie Barrow, and Ariel (Josh) Mullen; two great grandchildren, Levi Kendall and Meradith Kendall; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by one daughter, Jada Owen; one sister, Ruby Wimberley; and three brothers, Pete Owen, Tommy Owen, and Buck Owen.

Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap Street/PO Box 788, Paris, TN 38242.  Visitation will be Monday, December 6, 2021, from 4:00 – 7:00 pm at Ridgeway Funeral Home, and continue Tuesday, December 7, 2021, from 10:00 am – 11:00 am.  The funeral service will be Tuesday, December 7, 2021, at 11:00 am at Ridgeway Funeral Home, with Mike Wimberley officiating.

Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.

Burial will be in Memorial Cemetery in Paris.
