Jackie Don Jackson, age 72, of Paris, TN, died Monday, June 12, 2017, at his residence in Paris, TN.
Jackie formerly worked at Midland Brake Company in Paris, TN, and was a U.S Navy Vietnam Era Veteran. He was a member of Grace Baptist Church, who enjoyed preaching some and witnessing to people.
He was born November 6, 1944, in Lynn Grove, KY, to the late James Andrew Jackson and the late Velma B. Lax Jackson.
He was married May 28, 1969, to Patricia “Pat” Burnette Jackson, who survives, of Paris, TN.
Along with his wife, he is survived by one daughter Jeri (David) Anderson of Beech Bluff, TN; two sons, Jonathan Jackson and Mark Jackson both of Paris, TN; one sister Delores Ann Jackson of Henry, TN; one brother, Ronnie Jackson of Paris, TN; and three grandchildren, Rayna Jackson, Nathan Zachary Anderson, and Derrick Anderson.
In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by a daughter, Jacqueline Jackson.
Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap Street, Paris, TN, where visitation will be Wednesday, June 14, 2017 from 11:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 14, 2017, at Bethesda Cemetery in Paris, TN, with burial to follow. Jack Thacker will officiate.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
