Inez Marie Ellison

Inez Marie Ellison, age 85 of Paris, TN, died Thursday, March 29, 2018, at her residence.

She retired from Holley Carburetor in Paris after 18 years where she served as a quality control supervisor until its closing.  She loved fishing and traveling the country.  Quilting became her favorite hobby in her later years.  She was a member of East Wood Church of Christ where she enjoyed working with the three-year old class.

Marie was born March 20, 1933, in Murray, KY, to the late Charles “Charlie” Lamb and the late Manervia Baley Lamb.

She was married October 8, 1950, to Robert Ellison, who preceded her in death on December 18, 2009.

She is survived by two daughters, Laura (Jimmy) Wynn of Cottage Grove, TN, and Luann (Bill) DeWees of Springville, TN; one daughter-in-law, Kathy Ellison of Buchanan, TN; one sister-in-law, Rita Lamb of Paris, TN; eight grandchildren, Jimmy (Valerie) Wynn, Les (Wendy) Wynn, Katelyn (Nathan) West, Elizabeth Ellison, Rob Ellison, Ricky Ellison, Lori (Kyle) Nash, and Jessica (Chris) Thompson; eight great grandchildren, Madison Watkins, Gavin Watkins, Clint Wynn, Liam Mellon, Amber Nash, Kylie Nash, Carli Thompson, and Mason Thompson; special caregiver, Beth Reagan; and dear friend, Sue Odom.

Along with her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by two sons, Robert Ellison, Jr., and James “Jim” Frederick Ellison; four sisters, Fay Pusteri, Edith Norton, Lucille Horita, and Juanita Smith; four brothers, Charles Lamb, Bud Lamb, Norman "Shy" Lamb, and Warren Lamb;

Ridgeway Funeral Home 201 Dunlap St., Paris, TN, is handling the arrangements. Visitation will be Friday, March 30, 2018, from 4:00 pm – 7:00 pm, and continue on Saturday March 31, 2018, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am.  The funeral service will be Saturday, March 31, 2018, at 11:00 am in LeDon Chapel of Ridgeway Funeral Home, with Earl Claud officiating.

Family members will serve as pallbearers.

Burial will follow in Walker Cemetery in Paris, TN.
