Hazel L. Odom Williams, age 87, of Paris, TN, died Saturday February 27, 2016 at the Henry County Healthcare Center.
Born March 11, 1928 in St. Louis, MO, she was the daughter of the late Willard Lacky Odom and the late Rena Kay Hampton Odom.
She was a homemaker and had formerly attended the Church of God of Prophecy and she loved to fish.
Ms. Williams is survived by her four children: Daughters: Gail Williams, Nancy Cargill and Linda Williams all of Paris; and son Michael Odom of Nashville, TN; a brother, Joseph (Alice) Odom of Nevada, OH and her former husband Arlon Williams of Paris.
She leaves five grandchildren: Kimberly Serrano, Todd Williams, Jasen Williams, Michael (Dr. Megan) Higgins and Josh Stanfill. Also surviving are 9 great grandchildren: Ava, Aiden & Ashton Higgins, Blaze and Starlee Williams, Marisa and Ryan Bernal and Storm and Colt Serrano.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a grandson: Michael Wayne Williams, two sisters: Corine Odom and Zelda Offord and three brothers: Virgal Odom, Erbie Odom and Nathan Odom.
Visitation will be Ridgeway Funeral Home from 4 - 6 pm on Monday and then again from 9 to 11 am on Tuesday. Her Funeral Service will be Tuesday March 1, 2016 at 11:00 am at LeDon Chapel of Ridgeway Funeral Home with Dr. Rob Martin will officiating. Family and friends will serve as Pallbearers.
Interment will be in Memorial Cemetery.
