Harriet Ellen Wyrick

Harriet Ellen Wyrick, age 79 of Cottage Grove, TN, passed away August 28, 2019, at Saint Thomas West Hospital in Nashville, TN, while surrounded by her family.

Harriet Ellen Wyrick was a former employee of Paris, TN, Walmart where she was employed for 26 years.  Harriet loved to love on people.  She was known for her conversations, laughter, and always cooking or baking for those she loved.  Harriet was a Christian in faith and her life was a living example of the Bible verse Ephesians 4:32 – “And be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving one another, just as God also forgave you in Christ.”

Harriet Ellen (Cole) Wyrick was born October 17, 1939, in Bowling Green, OH, to the late Lawrence Cole and the late Beulah Brim Cole.

She was married November 17, 1967, to Edwin Dale Wyrick, who survives, of Cottage Grove, TN.

Along with her husband, she is also survived by her children, Elizabeth “Liz” Graham of Wedowee, AL, Curtis Wyrick of Ohio, Tina (Tim) Cox of Rising Sun, OH, and Scott (Barbara) Wyrick of Cottage Grove, TN; eight grandchildren, Shannon Morgan, Amanda Payton, Nicholas Graham, Chelsea Moomaw, Coltin Wyrick, Clay Wyrick, Chase Wyrick, and Cara Wyrick; and five great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by two brothers.

Please join us in celebrating her life on Saturday, August 31, 2019, between 10:00 am – 12:00 pm at Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap Street, Paris TN, with a memorial service beginning at 12:00 pm, with Bro. Jerry Massey officiating.
