Harold Dicus

Harold Dicus, age 83, of Paris, TN died Saturday March 8, 2025, at his residence. 

He was a member of Westwood Pentecostal Church of God. Harold retired from working at Emerson Electric after many years. He enjoyed reading.

Harold was born on December 19, 1941, to the late Calvin Louis Dicus and to the late Maudie Elva Weaver Dicus.

Harold first married Marie Long Dicus on June 22, 1963. She preceded him in death on October 13, 2013. He then married Jane Matheny Dicus on January 20, 2016, and she survives, of Paris.

He is survived by his three children; Debbie Hughes of Newbern, TN, Johnnie Dicus of Newbern, TN and Jeff (Deanna) Dicus of Henry, TN; three brothers, Garry W. (Lynn) Dicus of Paris, TN, Lonnie E. (Connie) Dicus of Paris, TN, Glynn Larry Dicus of Paris, TN; five grandchildren, Megan Hughes, Ivy (Charlie) Hart, Ethan (Olivia) Dicus, Allisyn (D.J.) Senner, and Arianna (Richard Ellison) Dicus; and one great-grandchild, Briggs Dicus.

Along with his parents and first wife, he is preceded in death by one sister, Elva Riggle; one brother, Tommie L. Dicus and one grandson, Logan Hughes.

The body will be cremated with a private burial of cremains to be held at a later date.
