Harold Bass, Sr.

Harold Nolan Bass, Sr., age 88, of Paris, Tenn., died Friday, July 3, 2015, at Henry County Healthcare Center in Paris, TN.  He married March 29, 1946 to Allie Ozane Moody Bass who survives.

He was a member of Bethesda United Methodist Church, a WW II veteran and a Mason. He formerly worked at Midland Brake Co. & Holley Carburetor Plant. Mr. Bass enjoyed painting, building houses, gardening, flowers and farming.

He was the son of the late Louis Richard Bass and the late Lucy Delaney Bass.

He is also survived by his Children, Melody (Randy) Long of Paris, TN and sons: Harold Bass, Jr. of Henry, TN, Bobby (Jamie) Bass of Henderson, TN, and a daughter in law: Joyce Lipford Bass.

Mr. Bass also leaves 10 Grandchildren: Ryan (Crystal) Long, Hunter (Lori) Long, Mark Nolan (Wendy) Bass, Justin Curtis Bass, Leslie Steinburg, Tracy (Joey) Smith, Jessica (Keith) Smith, Dennis Mitchell Bass, Donnie (Jennifer) Bass and Lisa Bass Ashley. Along with 19 Great Grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be his grandsons. Quentin Martin will serve as an Honorary Pallbearer.

Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap St. - P.O. Box 788, Paris, TN, where the family will receive friends from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM Sunday, July 5, 2015 and after 10:00 AM  Monday, July  6, 2015.  The funeral service will be at LeDon Chapel of Ridgeway Funeral Home at 1:00 PM Monday, July 6, 2015 , with Emily Walker officiating.  Interment will follow at Memorial Cemetery.
