Gwinna Vee Morris Gallimore

Gwinna Vee Morris Gallimore, age 92 of Paris, TN, died Sunday, July 14, 2024, at Charter Senior Living in Paris.

She retired after many years from the Henry County Board of Education. Gwinna loved the outdoors, traveling, camping, and crafts. She was a longtime member of Puryear Baptist Church. 

Gwinna was born January 28, 1932, in the Jones Mill community of Puryear, TN, to the late Gaylon Crawford Morris and the late Estelle Holley Morris.

She was married July 21, 1950, to Frank Ralph Gallimore, who preceded her in death on September 18, 1999.

She is survived by her brother, Gaylon Holley (Gail) Morris of Paris, TN; two nieces, Michelle Harrison of Paris, TN, and Mary Grace (Brandon) Bean of Paris, TN; and great nieces and great nephews, Jackson Harrison, Alexis Harrison, Phoebe Harrison, Parker Harrison, Avery Bean, Max Bean, and Etta Jo Bean.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by her son, Tony Frank Gallimore; and one great niece, Alexandra Harrison.

Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap St, Paris, TN. Visitation will be Wednesday, July 17, 2024, from 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm at Ridgeway Funeral Home, with the funeral service beginning at 3:00 pm at Ridgeway Funeral Home with Bro. Glynn Orr officiating. 

Serving as pallbearers will be Jackson Harrison, Parker Harrison, Max Bean, Brandon Bean, Jarred Presson, and Ross Paschall.

Burial will be in Puryear City Cemetery in Puryear, TN.
