Gloria Baker Kirkland, age 68 of Springville, TN, died Thursday, June 11, 2019, in Paris, TN.
She retired from Clifty Farms where she worked in packaging. She enjoyed fishing, crocheting, being in her garden, and making crafts.
Gloria loved anything Elvis, collecting cigarette lighters, and her family. She was Baptist in faith.
Gloria was born May 9, 1951, in Dresden, TN, to the late LT Baker and the late Alice Johnson Baker.
She is survived by her three daughters, LaDonna (James) Ward of Springville, TN, Jeana (Sean) Norman of Huntingdon, TN, and Misty Ellis and her fiancé James Andrews of Paris, TN; two sisters, Doris Reed of McKenzie, TN and Phyllis Koebel; one brother, Harry Baker of Springville, TN; 9 grandchildren, Dustin (Andreanna) Capps, Adam Capps, Courtney (Kayla Michelle) Norman, Kayla Allen and her fiancé Nathan Ballentine, Chad Allen, Darren (Felicia) Norman, Faith Norman, Evan Ellis, and Eric Ellis and his fiancée Ashlyn Singleton; and eight great grandchildren.
Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by one sister, Alice Valentine; and one grandchild, Christopher Capps, Jr.
Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap St, Paris, TN. Visitation will be Saturday, July 13, 2019, from 4:00 pm – 7:00 pm at Ridgeway Funeral Home, and continue Sunday, July 14, 2019, from 12:00 pm – 2:00 pm. The funeral service will be Sunday, July 14, 2019, at 2:00 pm at LeDon Chapel of Ridgeway Funeral Home with Roger Cooper officiating.
Family members will serve as pallbearers.
Burial will follow in Bevil Cemetery in Paris, TN.
