Glenda Lipps

Glenda Ann Lipps, age 79 of Springville, TN, died Sunday, April 12, 2020, at AHC of Paris.

She graduated from Bethel College then obtained a master’s degree in education. Glenda taught in several school systems in Tennessee. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Clarksville, TN. Glenda loved teaching and being active in the children’s ministry at church, Sunday school, and Wednesday night prayer meeting.  She was very generous in giving to many non-profit organizations.

Glenda was born August 30, 1940, in Henry, TN to the late Glen Lipps and the late Hester V. Baker Lipps.

She is survived by a brother, Joe Lipps of Springville, TN; one nephew, Danny (Barbara) Lipps of Smyrna, TN; one niece, Kathryn Buie of FL; and several cousins locally.

Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap Street, P.O. Box 788, Paris, TN 38242.  A private family graveside will be held with Bill Graham officiating.  Burial will be in Maplewood Cemetery.
