Glen Hubbard

Glen Hubbard, age 93 of Buchanan, TN, died Friday, November 30, 2018, at the Henry County Healthcare Center.

He retired after working 37 years as a supervisor for Holley Automotive.  He enjoyed being with his grandchildren, farming, his cows, rabbit hunting, gardening and mowing. He was a United States Army Veteran and was a member of Mt. Zion Church of Christ.

Glen was born August 20, 1925, in Vale, TN, to the late Isom James Hubbard and the late Lockie Bell Hastings Hubbard.

He was married on November 24, 1948, to Mary Jo Thompson Hubbard who survives of Buchanan, TN.

Along with his wife, he is survived by two children, Judy (Don) Cox of Buchanan, TN, and Gary (Marsha) Hubbard of Jackson, TN; one brother, Dudley Hubbard of Paris, TN; five grandchildren, Chad (Maria) Cox, Jeremy (Kasey) Cox, Marsha Jo (Bill) Mayfield, Melinda (Lorne) Halpenny and Kellye Hubbard; and ten great grandchildren, Avery Cox, Rush Cox, Makenzy Cox, Marshall Cox, Macey Cox, Lindsey Heath, Taylor Mayfield, Brenden Halpenny, Addison Halpenny and Carson Moore.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three sisters, Illa Jackson, Sarah Smith and Lockie Pauline Hubbard.

Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home 201 Dunlap St. Paris, TN, where visitation will be Sunday, December 2, 2018 from 4 until 7 pm and Monday, December 3, 2018 from 11 am until 1 pm.  His funeral service will be Monday, December 3, 2018, at 1:00 pm at LeDon Chapel of Ridgeway Funeral Home with Tom Sisco and John Dale officiating.

Serving as pallbearers will be David Lassiter, Rodney Lassiter, Doug Jackson, Glenn Baars, Kyle Spurgeon, Chad Cox and Jeremy Cox.

Burial will be in Hillcrest Memorial Park in Paris, TN.
