Gladys Isbell Allred, age 80 of Paris, TN, died Thursday, June 27, 2019, at her residence in Paris, TN.
She was a waitress for many years. Gladys was a member of Olive Branch United Methodist Church in Cottage Grove, and a former member of the Church of God in Tupelo, MS. She loved reading her Bible and fishing in Garrett Lake. She also loved to quilt and cook.
Gladys was born December 4, 1938, in Trimble, TN, to the late Edgar Leonard Isbell and the late Ruthie Mai Crawford Isbell.
She was married July 25, 1985, to Willie Waldon Allred, who survives, of Paris, TN.
Along with her husband, she is also survived by one stepdaughter, Dianna (John) Tibbatt of Amory, MS; one sister, Betty Qualkinbush of Manchester, TN; six step grandchildren, Bonnie Buchanan, Tracy Shanklin, Matthew Irvin, Jospeh Allred, Stevie Allred, and Sheree Allred; and eight step great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by one stepson, Gary Steve Allred; two sisters, Tincie Mae Pannell and Mary Lou Hawkins; and one brother, Billy Isbell.
Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap St, Paris, TN. Visitation will be Saturday, June 29, 2019, from 9:00 am – 11:00 am at Ridgeway Funeral Home, with the funeral service beginning at 11:00 am at LeDon Chapel of Ridgeway Funeral Home, with Mike Wimberley officiating.
Family will serve as pallbearers.
Burial will be in Olive Branch Cemetery in Cottage Grove, TN.
