Gervis "Jack" Paschall

Gervis “Jack” Paschall, age 87, of Puryear, Tenn., died Monday, May  9, 2016, at Paris Healthcare & Rehab Center in Paris, Tenn.

He was a member of North Fork Baptist Church for over 50 years.   Gervis was a retired security guard for Murray Guard at Emerson Electric.   He formerly managed Humphrey's Loose Leaf Tobacco Floor in Mayfield, KY and farmed for many years.

Gervis was born September 13, 1928 in Puryear, TN to the late Dallas Mason Paschall and the late Lottie May Ray Paschall.

He was first married on October 26, 1946 to Mary Virginia Stuber Paschall and she preceded in death September 10, 2004.  He was then married to Sarah Anzonetta Paschall February 9, 2011 and she preceded in death August 11, 2014.

He is survived by his three Daughters,  Glenda (Joe) Lankford of Paris, Tenn,  Anne (Roy) Paschall of Puryear, Tenn, and Judy (Rickie) Orr of Puryear, Tenn;  one Step-son survives locally, Noel (Patti) Hatman of Paris, Tenn;  Sister-in-law, Margaret Ham of Manchester, TN;  six Grandchildren, Melissa (Kevin) Scott, Clint (Kelly) Paschall, Russ (Wendy) Orr, Jamie (Scarlet) Orr, Michelle (Will) Arnold, and John (Amanda) Lankford; and 10 Great Grandchildren.

Besides his Parents and Wives, he was also preceded in death by a Sister, Elise and her Husband Albert Cook.

Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap St., Paris, Tenn., where the visitation will be from 4 – 7 pm Wednesday, May 11, 2016 and from 12 - 2:00 pm Thursday, May 12, 2016.    The Funeral Service will be at LeDon Chapel of Ridgeway Funeral Home at 2:00 pm Thursday, May 12, 2016 with Malcolm Norton officiating.

Pallbearers will be Clint Paschall, Kevin Scott, Russ Orr, Jamie Orr, John Lankford and Will Arnold.

Interment will be at Paschall Cemetery near Puryear, Tenn.
