Gertrude Lilly Eson

Gertrude Lilly Eson, age 90 of Buchanan, TN, died Thursday, February 25, 2021, at Diversicare of Dover in Dover, TN.

She was a homemaker who enjoyed crocheting, dancing, fishing and working in the yard.

Gertrude was born January 19, 1931, in Chatham, IL, to the late Walter Raymond Fry and the late Ruby Smith Fry.

She was married August 21, 1948 to Donald Frank Eson, who preceded her in death on March 28, 2013.

She is survived by her daughter, Linda Bradbury of North Hutchinson Island, FL; three sisters, Shirley Pisani, Barbara Smith, and Elizabeth Sumpter; two brothers, James Fry and William Fry; four grandchildren; and six great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by one daughter, Patricia Ann Magos; one sister, Betty Connett; and three brothers, Eddie Fry, Walter Fry, and Dale Fry.

Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap St/PO Box 788, Paris, TN 38242.  The body is to be cremated with no services planned.
