George Wallace Ingle, age 83, of Paris, Tenn., died Monday, December 14, 2015, at his residence in Paris, Tenn.
He was a Presbyterian and a building contractor. He was the former owner and developer of Mansard Island Resort. He also was the Owner and Operator of Lakeway Auto Sales for 37 years. George was a US Army Korean War Veteran. He was a self-taught musician and loved music.
George was born June 23, 1932 in Bruceton, TN to the late George McDowell Ingle and the late Era Dee VanCleave Ingle.
He was married January 1, 1955 to Frances Cary Ingle and she survives. He is also survived by his Two Daughters, Marlene (Randy) Spencer of Paris, Tenn, Debra (Scott) Bohn of Paris, Tenn; One Son, David (Pam) Ingle of Paris, Tenn; One Sister, Mildred Edwards of St. Louis, Mo; One Brother, Frank (Marsha) Ingle of Hammond, Ind; Four Grandchildren, Amanda Ingle and fiancé Paul Lenski of Knoxville, TN, Katie (Ryan) Treece of Newbern, TN, Elizabeth Cook of Paris, TN, and Joshua Bohn of Paris, TN; and One Great Grandchild, Aidan Treece of Newbern, TN.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a Son, Danny Ingle; Sister, Jane Freeman; and Brother, Robert C. Ingle.
Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap St., Paris, Tenn., where the visitation will be from 4 – 7 pm Tuesday, December 15, 2015 and from 1 – 3 pm Wednesday, December 16, 2015. The Funeral Service will be at LeDon Chapel of Ridgeway Funeral Home at 3:00 pm Wednesday, December 16, 2015.
Randy Stephens will officiate. Pallbearers will be Randy Spencer, James Mann, Scott Bohn, Josh Bohn, Ryan Treece, and Paul Lenski.
Interment will be at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Paris, Tenn.
